About ZAWT

Introduction of ZA Welfare Trust

We believe that Pakistan will never achieve its true growth story until the rural sector of the country is empowered to make choices and transform their own lives.

We at the Zubaida Aman Welfare Trust are committed and raring to go. We aren't naive about the task we've set but are determined to create communities that will have the ability to contribute substantially to Pakistan's growth story. Everyone deserves a chance.

We are inspired by the notion of a Pakistan of equality, a Pakistan where there is no lack of education, no lack of proper healthcare, no lack of justice for all.

We have always dreamt of One Pakistan, a Pakistan where the Urban-Rural divide doesn't exist. We hope that you will believe in the ZA-Trust and in our rural communities.

The Zubaida Aman (ZA) Welfare Trust is an organization established to promote the welfare of the poor, needy and deprived communities of Pakistan and abroad. Its branches are actively functioning for this purpose. The head office is in Karachi, Pakistan while its Pakistan regional office is situated in Ghazi, district Haripur. This regional office plays a proactive role for the welfare of the people particularly providing adequate financial assistance and other activities addressing the basic needs of the disadvantaged. The trust deals with the local communities, NGOS, as well as individuals directly. Volunteers associated with ZA facilitate this process. The activities undertaken are briefly mentioned in the following chapters of this introductory brochure.

ZA Welfare Trust promotes self-reliance, especially in women and children. It, also, works towards development of the urban and rural poor population. The people behind the trust have envisioned children to be the building blocks of the future. Therefore, we have developed programs ranging from healthcare, education, livelihood, women empowerment to a system where the gap between the privileged and the underprivileged lessens. Here, at ZA Welfare Trust, we are always here to help people prosper and succeeded in their endeavors.

Vision

Every person deserves an opportunity. An opportunity to lead a dignified and healthy life. An opportunity to learn without fear. An opportunity to work. An opportunity to have access to the basic necessities of human life.
With that vision in mind, our mission is to educate and develop rural Pakistan. We want a Pakistan where kids can be just kids and go to school rather than work.
